What happens after someone finds shelter.

Our food pantry serves Santa Fe families and individuals every Thursday, 10:00 AM–noon, on the Christ Lutheran Church campus. Born as a CLC ministry, it now operates in partnership with Open Arms. A monthly pilot drive-through pantry runs the third Thursday evening, 4:00–5:45 PM, offering an after-work option. Residents earn a stipend working drive-through shifts; CLC volunteers anchor both programs. All food programming is coordinated with the Food Depot. 

Unhoused Art brings regular creative programming to our campus, giving community members a space to express themselves and connect with one another. This spring, in partnership with Vital Spaces, residents are painting a mural across the exterior of every shelter in the village — panel by panel — turning the community into a canvas that belongs to the people who call it home. 

Coming in 2026 in partnership with Reunity Resources: a resident-tended garden where neighbors learn to grow their own food, develop practical skills, and deepen their connection to the land. The garden will serve as a shared resource and gathering point for the entire campus community. 

Sessions with Nusenda Credit Union help community members build the financial foundation for independent living. Topics include opening and managing a bank account, budgeting basics, and understanding credit — practical tools that make a lasting difference as residents move toward stability and self-sufficiency.

Workforce Solutions brings job preparedness programming directly to our campus. Community members access on-site computers in the community room for job searches and resume building, with guided support to help them navigate applications and feel confident entering or re-entering the workforce. 

Miracle Messages is a national program with a local Santa Fe chapter now forming. It helps community members reconnect with family members and friends they've lost touch with over time — restoring relationships that provide lasting emotional support and a stronger foundation for long-term stability. 

Monthly clinic visits from La Familia, benefits navigation through The Life Link, and gap coverage support through Falling Colors work together to ensure no one falls through the cracks. Community members receive care coordination and enrollment assistance to connect with the health services they need.

The Life Link coordinates regular Walmart shopping trips and Santa Fe Rides assistance so community members can get where they need to go — medical appointments, job interviews, and essential services. Reliable transportation removes a real barrier and helps residents stay connected to the broader community.
